Tarlac: Enjoy At Isdaan Sa Tarlac

Philippines is also known for it's many festivities. In fact, the Isdaan sa Tarlac, known as the floating restaurant of the North, even conceptualized to celebrate every popular festival in their place. I was amazed to see the performers with their Ati-Atihan costumes and I even have a photo opt with them.Lol!
Last New Year, I didn't use fireworks for the first time  for my support of "Save Mother Earth"( they said fireworks get rid off the bad luck), good thing, I visited this place because I need also to recharge my luck power (hehehe!), there's a sign that says; " touch the right hand of Buddha  and make a wish, and after that ring the bell in order that Buddha will grant your wish, hmm..., not bad, why not ? there's no harm in trying! My sister and I made our own wishes...
I wish.....that..
I hope...it will be granted.
Wow! Micky and Minnie was here...
And even Former President Joseph Estrada...but this time, I think my sister need to use her "fan effort".. as we all know, we have a hot weather but as you can see, the Former President is wearing a jacket.
Yeehah! US President and her First Lady was here too..okey, Karen, fine!.. your so close to them!
Too much blah, blah! I almost forgot why we are here in the first place. Sorry for that, I really had  fun with their new stuffs. Well, why we are here? to taste their Barrio Fiesta Pinakbet and their famous Inihaw na Manok with Gata flavor. How can I resists the sumptuous foods of Isdaan sa Tarlac. Indeed,  delicious delicacies are here! I even tried the "itlog na maalat with mango salad and shrimp paste". I cannot say anything with all these flavorful dishes, imagine how their famous Mama Chit passed her secret recipes to her generations.

Looks like you had a great time there. I've been to Tarlac few times but never heard of this. I would like to touch Buddha's hand too and make a wish for it seems like my luck left me at the moment

It is the first time I heard that Tarlac also has an "ati-atihan" I thought it was a term used in Kalibo,Aklan only (similar to Dinagyan of iloilo and sinulog of Cebu). Is this also held in January? :)
