What could be more impressive than to have a council who are united and helping each other in promoting tourism in their town.
Bauang Tourism Council is the union of the government sector and business establishments of
Bauang. Last September 15, 2012 in Coconut Grove Beach Resort, I attended a beauty pageant and witnessed the 1st BTC Miss Oktoberfest. The beauty contest is a collaboration for their Oktoberfest Festival 2012. The awarding of prizes for the winners will be held in Hotel Ariana on October 13, 2012.

There are total of 15 candidates who represents some establishments in Bauang. The following businesses are; Natalna Grille, Sunseekers Villa, Jessica Beach Resort, Rosebowl Steakhouse and Restaurant, Laigo's Green Valley Residential Homes, Hotel Ariana, Mark Teresa Apts., Kaykayo Resort, Villa Estrella Beach Resort, The VFW La Cantina Mexican Restaurant, Bali Hai Beach Resort, Coconut Grove Beach Resort, Nalinac and Long Beach Resorts.
