Baguio, the summer capital of the Philippines is one of my favorite destinations. Why? simply, because this is a memorable place for me. Since it only takes an hour from my place to Baguio City, my family always find time to go there for our bonding.
Cool breezes, tall pine trees, colorful flowers, beautiful landscapes....and more to described the city. One don't need to be extravagant to go there, just by looking the sights and having a picnic at Burnham Park is a whole lot of fun.
Where do I go to buy my yummy Ube jam and pastilles? hmmmm.,definitely, at Good Shepherd Convent. I am not only buying their products but I am also sharing my blessings to their charity works because most of their sales will go to those people they are helping.
We are walking at the park along the Mansion, when we saw ladies with box or basket on their head, selling their fresh fruits like strawberries and lanzones. We bought a kilo of each, and continue to walk as we stroll at the park. What a simple way to enjoy life!
